The project began with research, a mind map and mood boards before exploring colour palettes, typography and logo concepts. After developing a range of thumbnail sketches, I refined the strongest ideas into a cohesive brand that could work across both print and digital media.
The final concept included:
With my own background in hospitality, café ownership and coffee roasting, I was able to draw on real-world experience throughout the design process. Every decision—from the earthy colour palette to the photography, typography and layout—was carefully considered to communicate quality, authenticity and a place where people would want to slow down and enjoy good coffee with family and friends.
Although this was created as part of my Diploma of Graphic Design, it reflects the way I approach every design project: beginning with research, developing ideas through sketching and refinement, and creating a solution that is both visually engaging and purposeful.
