Artist's inspiration: We used to own an organic coffee farm at Asltonville, called High Trees Estate, where we would have farm tours and part of that was cake and coffee. I used to make a selection of cakes for the guests, and this was one of them. This is such a soft, delicious chocolate sponge roll, filled with fresh cream and strawberries, adorned with rich chocolatey ganache. So hard to only eat just one slice.
Perfect in your kitchen, family room, dining area or lounge, or liven up an office or meeting space.
