These little cake characters are called Flamingtons, They are a cross between an Aussie Lamington cake ( I know the NewZealanders will claim them too but I am happy to share!) and a Flamingo! I know odd..hey :). but cute and I have them playing at Sofala an iconic old gold mining town in Australia. They started as a mix of different mediums. The Sofala home was a linocut, the lamingtons were watercolour and the legs are digital.
